A shared time reference.
Combining radio signals requires stable sample clocks, accurate timestamps, and correction for differences in signal arrival time. Future synchronisation tools will help assess clock drift and align compatible recordings alongside the calibration and correlation workflow.
Precision depends on station hardware, timing references, station positions, and calibration. Faster data transfer can shorten waiting times; it does not by itself improve timing accuracy.
