ASTRA WORLD is developing the software and cloud infrastructure to coordinate observations, process distributed telescope data, and connect independently built ASTRA telescopes into a growing global radio astronomy network.
In developmentASTRA 100 is the foundation for learning, recording spectra, and developing observations. Connecting instruments opens new possibilities for coordinated experiments and future interferometry. This is the infrastructure and long-term vision we are developing.
A future workspace for coordinating compatible telescope recordings and checking their timing. We’re developing tools to help stations prepare for shared observations and interferometry.
Explore Synchronisation ↗ASTRA Live / PlannedParticipating telescopes will be able to stream observation data and metadata to ASTRA during a shared session. The planned platform will coordinate incoming data, monitor station status, and support near-real-time visualisations and, as the infrastructure develops, correlation products.
Explore ASTRA Live ↗ASTRA Compute / PlannedUpload recorded observations from one or multiple compatible telescopes to future ASTRA computing infrastructure for calibration, spectral analysis, and computationally intensive correlation.
Explore ASTRA Compute ↗ASTRA Network / PlannedIndependently built ASTRA telescopes will be able to register as stations in a growing observing ecosystem. Discover collaborators, plan shared experiments, and coordinate observations across locations.
Explore ASTRA Network ↗ASTRA Data / PlannedA planned home for storing, sharing, discovering, and analysing observations from ASTRA telescopes. Structured metadata and provenance will keep each scientific product connected to the observation and processing that produced it.
Explore ASTRA Data ↗Telescope designs, documentation, community knowledge, and basic observation should remain accessible without a subscription. Core synchronisation and interferometry services are planned to be free. Subscriptions will support resource-intensive streaming, cloud computation, larger storage, automated processing, advanced coordination, and AI-assisted analysis.
